Day 1: San José.
You will be picked up from the airport in San Jose and transferred to the hotel in San Jose where you will spend the night. We meet in the hotel lobby for dinner and orientation this evening

Day 2: Cartago by train and bike.
You will start this journey embarking on the train to Cartago city from San Jose city. Cartago is a beautiful city with a lot of friendly people, culture and color which you will travel by bike today.
You will travel through several beautiful spots, such as the Orosi Valley, and see amazing views of the surrounding mountains on your way to Turrialba. Your hotel for tonight is a great place next to the Reventazón River and great biodiversity.

Day 3: Rafting Adventure |Bike adventure.
Are you ready for an amazing day full of adventure and adrenaline? You will bike the surrounding areas of Turrialba, a small town in the East of Cartago, with friendly people, beautiful views, and the majestic Turrialba Volcano. You will end your bike tour at the Pejibaye River, where you will continue the adventure with a whitewater rafting tour. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4 & 5: Tortuguero Canals.
After breakfast, you will continue onto tiny town of Siquirres (2-hour drive approximate), where you will board a small boat that will take you to Tortuguero National Park, navigating a series of small rivers. On the way you might see animals like the different species of monkeys, tons of different birds, sloths, and even caimans.
After mid/day, you will arrive at your Lodge just in time for lunch. Then, you will have the afternoon and the next day to explore surroundings. A guided visit to the village of Tortuguero and a guided boat tour through the National Park are included.

Day 6: Guanacaste Beach Adventure
Today you will travel from Tortuguero to Nicoya by plane, just right after breakfast. Upon arrival to Nicoya, you will take your bike once more and travel to the hotel through the best route, passing by bridges, rivers, small mountains, and colorful small towns; feeling the adrenaline and the warm breeze of the ocean on your face. At the hotel, you will be welcomed with a lunch on the beach.

Day 7: Day at leisure.
Enjoy a free morning, you may spend your time on the beach or at the pool. In the afternoon, you have scheduled a cooking class! Learn the secrets behind Costa Rica’s favorite flavors, from rice pudding to ceviche, the Chef will lead fun interactive sessions featuring fresh regional ingredients and signature Costa Rican traditions.

Day 8: Departure.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Liberia International Airport (3-hour drive approximate) for your flight back home.
Note: You will check-in 3 hours before your scheduled flight home according to the regulations imposed by the airport.
