Day 1: Pick up in your hotel
Early in the morning, we leave the city behind and start exploring the small towns of Alajuela, Bijagua.
When we arrive at the hotel we are enjoy the horseback ride through the ranch, meadows, near the tropical forest, through the farm’s green valleys and hillsides, past fruit groves and beautiful open pastures. Along the way, keep a look out for monkeys, birds, sloths and other animals that make our place their home. On a clear day you will delight in the beautiful majestic view of the Miravailles and Tenorio Volcanoes. Small children must either ride with a parent or with one of our guides.
After enjoy your horseback riding we will have a delicious lunch before checking into your lodge. After your fun-filled day enjoy this unique wood-fired hot tub perfect spot to relax . Lay back and listen to the sound of the rushing river beside you.

Day 2: Hike Expedition and back to San José

The park is approximately a 25-minute drive from the Lodge. After approximately 40 minute hike through primary and secondary rainforest with fauna and abundant flora, you will behold the breathtaking 70ft. Rio Celeste Waterfall. The rest of the hike includes a phenomenal lookout point; the area where the river gains its amazing light blue color; as well as to the steaming hot & cool springs and mineral mud pits; and the unforgettable blue lagoon.
When your hike adventure is finished, enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch in your lodge. After your day full of nature, adventure, and delicious food, we’ll drive you back to your hotel in San José.
