Day 1: Beach Time-Cahuita.

We will drive towards the Caribbean Sea, passing through the Braulio Carrillo National Park, a unique rainforest in Costa Rica.  We will arrive to tiny town of Cahuita, a Caribbean community that harbors one of the most beautiful national parks in Costa Rica.

Day 2: Cahuita National Park and Snorkeling

Savor a morning cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast before enjoying a short hike and a snorkeling adventure on the reefs of Cahuita National Park .   This is a 10,000-acre protected reserve with miles of coral reef along the coast. On the underwater coral gardens watch for parrot fish, angel fish, snappers, groupers, grunts, blue tangs, jack fish, and other species swimming amongst the sea fans, brain coral, boulder coral, fire coral, and elk horn corals.

Day 3: Back to San José-visit Sloth Sanctuary

Enjoy one final swim in the ocean or walk on the beach before being transferred to San Jose. On the way visit The Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica rescue center for injured, orphaned and abandoned sloths. The government officially declared the property a privately-owned biological reserve in 1975.

This evening, join your guide for a guided tour through San José city.  On this tour, you will visit the central Market and the central avenue, giving you the chance to see how Costa Ricans live their daily routine while enjoying some goodies at the market.
